Location suited us perfectly. Easy access from Orly via Orlyval then RER B to Denfert Rochereau for a 10 min walk via Rue Daguerre. Or G7 taxi from Airport! Amazing views from Montparnasse Tower 6-8 mins walk away. Use Gaîté Metro 5 mins away to access Metro system. Flea market 3 metro stops away Wide range of bistrot, bars and mid-range restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Staff very helpful and pleasant The internal courtyard was delightful as an option for breakfast or relaxation Clean towels daily and rooms beautifully made up too. Very quiet in immediate vicinity yet steps away from a busy main road and 2 lively roads. Rue Daguerre with multiple fresh fruit and veg outlets and eateries, Rue de la Gaîté 5-10 mins walk for lots of eatery choices. Highly recommended Le Cornichon 6 mins walk.

We had a very pleasant stay on a dreary, rain soaked day. The warm welcome and bed were just what we needed. What went beyond our expectations was the wonderful breakfast. We recommend taking advantage of the breakfast offer. In addition to the usual congenital offerings there were also scrambled eggs. They had good yogurt, granola and a wide variety of breads and rolls. The room was tidy, warm and the bed quite comfortable. This hotel is on a quiet street and we had no trouble with noise. The staff were extremely kind at reception and in the breakfast room. I also think you can get a glass of wine, beer or a mixed drink in the evening. Because this is a short walk from the Montparnasse train station, it a convenient location if you are passing through. We will stay again.

Love this hotel. Second time I've stayed here. The fact that cause célèbre writers Jean Paul Satre and Simone de Beauvoir lived in this hotel gives it such gravitas.The fact that this wonderful hotel is located right across the street from the lovely Montparnasse cemetery just adds more charm to the entire experience. Great location, excellent breakfast, plenty of extras little goodies like housemade mint lemonade and mini croissants in the afternoon. And did I mention the welcome plate of macarons & a personalized handwritten note upon arrival? How thoughtful is that?

The staff is friendly and always ready to help, the location is very convenient and close to the metropolitan, the bus stop is a couple of steps around the corner. There's filtered water free of charge at the reception desk, also croissants and tea bags. There's a kettle in the room and a small fridge. The breakfast was really nice, the only thing that I missed were veggies (but maybe I just didn't find them). Orange fresh juice was always there, lots of different bread and cheese too ☺️

I really liked the fact of nice breakfast including warm food, luggage room and very nice location. It was perfect if you intend to use public transport - two metro lines really close, metro B to airport also with walking distance, train to Versailles close as well. The hotel had nice free WiFi and the cleaning was daily. The check out and check in hours were very convenient. I would recommend the hotel to a couple for city break in Paris. It is a great option in this hotel class.
